When your Aunt asks you to be her wedding day photographer, of course you say YES!
She married her best friend and love of her life, Al, this past weekend, and Nick and I were there to capture every moment. The ceremony was held at a lovely lutheran church, with family and friends present, live music, and Diane’s oldest son giving her away, while her youngest served as the best man.
After they were officially pronounced to be “husband and wife”, we snapped a few photos of the receiving line and then headed outside to grab more photos of the happy couple in front of some VERY NICE classic cars that I’m not going to begin to pretend to know what they were exactly (shiny, pretty & cool work, right?!).
The reception was held at The Rock in Franklin, with loads of hor de vours and cupcakes to go around! Their first dance was “You’re My First, My Last, My Everything” by Barry White, and let’s just say the bride and groom were completely adorable dancing together...
The view off the venue’s patio, where we captured some lovely photos of the bride and groom, was breathtaking. We had such perfect weather, and a beautiful, soft sunset.
It was a lovely evening, and we’re so glad to have been there for Diane and Al’s special day, both as family, and behind the lens!
